LifeBot Health, a leading global provider of exclusive patented EMS and Military developed telemedicine and resuscitation solutions, has named Sherif E. Mohallal as President and Chief Executive Officer for Middle East and Africa (MEA). Sherif Mohallal has been acting VP, MEA for the last year with LifeBot.

The Board conducted a rigorous selection process in which both external and internal candidates were assessed for the role. The company have said they are pleased that this has resulted in the selection of an internal candidate with a detailed understanding of LifeBot and its markets who will be able to provide continuity of purpose. 

“Mohallal is the right leader for Lifebot in MEA,” said Jonathan Perl, LifeBot Chairman of the Board. “Mohallal’s extensive Health Tech background and business development skills should help LifeBot strengthen channel partnerships, develop strategic alliances and expand our international sales presence. We believe his strong leadership experience will help focus LifeBot during their turn around process and return to profitability.”

Mohallal has more than 20 years of senior management experience, brings a unique set of skills, perspectives, and relationships to lead LifeBot in MEA into the future. Building on what it has already accomplished, under his leadership the company hopes to hone its strategic direction, grow and develop the organization, strengthen partnerships, and build new relationships in the Middle East and Africa.

Mohallal’s previous positions include CEO of Technologiat in Egypt, MEA Regional Director of Leadtek Research Inc. in Taiwan, MEA Director of Teradici in Canada that was acquired by HP and Managing Director MEA at Panologic Inc. in USA that was acquired by Samsung.

“I am very excited to be joining the LifeBot Board of Directors,” said Sherif Mohallal. “I believe LifeBot has a great business model and talented management team that uniquely positions it to capitalize on the changing Telemidicine Industry. As the industry evolves through restructuring, consolidation and technology migrations, I believe LifeBot is in a position to provide a cost effective and timely suite of equipment and services to help Healthcare providers efficiently manage their remote patients and sites and maximize their budgets.”
