This case study from MilDef explains how the Norwegian Army utilized the company’s rugged computers and special electronics to digitize the CV90 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) in order to provide situational awareness from platoon to brigade level.
By mounting MilDef 19”/2 products in more than 140 CV90s, the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency has enhanced these vehicles with a modern computing solution built specifically for combat environments.
“With the CV90’s Integrated Combat System, this is the world’s most modern fighting vehicle,” said General Odin Johannessen, former Chief of the Norwegian Army. “This is the Army’s F-35, a joint resource and a game-changer that gives us situational awareness and understanding.”
