Honeywell’s Embedded GPS/INS (EGI) systems are designed to provide military aircraft with the utmost in reliable navigation, pointing, stabilization and flight control, with high performance even in the most demanding conditions. The tightly-coupled navigation systems provide a variety of critical outputs, including linear and angular acceleration, linear and angular velocity, position, attitude (roll, pitch), platform azimuth, magnetic and true heading, altitude, body angular rates, time tags and coordinated universal time (UTC) synchronized time.
Certified to DO-178 and DO-254, the systems also feature robust anti-jam capabilities to protect against modern jamming and spoofing threats and challenging GPS-denied environments. They can also be equipped with M-Code functionality via a simple card swap, providing secure and future-proofed navigation capabilities for military aircraft operators.
