Filmed at DSEI, this video features Jonathan Andree, Technical Director at Galvion, introducing the Cortex Echo, part of the company’s Cortex line of smart and powered helmet systems.
Designed to attach to existing helmets, the Cortex Echo adds computing capability and connectivity through modular components including a rear-mounted compute system, optional power and sensor modules, and a heads-up display.
The system connects to an end user device (EUD) and interfaces with software such as ATAK, displaying operational data directly within the soldier’s line of sight. Through its integrated controls, users can manage routes, adjust waypoints, and access live video feeds from drones or other remote sources, all while keeping their head up and EUD secure during operations.
By combining data display, communications, and sensor input into an adaptable helmet-mounted system, Galvion’s Cortex Echo demonstrates the company’s continued focus on enhancing the connectivity and capability of the modern warfighter.
