The agreement will enhance the customer nation’s ability to defend critical infrastructure, strategic sites and military assets as unmanned aerial threats continue to evolve.

Skyjacker Advanced is based on a modular, scalable architecture that brings together command-and-control functionality with the capacity to incorporate a broad range of detection and identification sensors, as well as effectors.

Its open architecture is designed to support integration with existing defense networks and across multiple platforms, giving armed forces a flexible and adaptable counter-drone capability.

The system uses advanced GNSS spoofing technology to counter hostile drone swarms. By simulating navigation signals, Skyjacker can alter the trajectory of hostile drones and neutralize them.

Alexandre Ziegler, Head of Defense Global Business Unit at Safran Electronics & Defense, said, “We are proud to contribute to technological and defense sovereignty by delivering a solution that offers operational effectiveness, scalability, resilience, and open architecture. This contract confirms our role as a leading provider of critical counter-drone equipment, strengthening Europe’s defense capabilities.”
