Antillion has become a member of the AUKUS Authorised User Community (AUC), the trilateral UK, US, and Australia partnership focused on advancing defence capability and security.
Continued selection across programmes reflects growing confidence in the company’s platforms, approach, and the role of edge technology in modern operations. Antillion believes membership of the AUC will reduce the time and cost required to engage in defence trade within and between the UK, Australia, and the US by removing the need for ITAR export licences, reducing trade frictions for SMEs.
The status will also help Antillion engage more easily with potential partners and customers in Australia and the US, while making its technology easier to incorporate into the capabilities of larger prime contractors involved in AUKUS work, where AUC status can act as a differentiator within the supply chain.
The approval has already enabled Antillion to purchase otherwise ITAR-licensed software for use on a collaborative project for a UK government body. Without the membership, the purchase would not have been possible within the project timescales.
Entry to the AUC is gained through an application process rather than selection. Antillion demonstrated to the UK Ministry of Defence that there was a requirement for membership after developing an opportunity that depended on AUC status, before completing the requirements for the Open General Licence through the Department for Business and Trade.
