UAV Propulsion Systems

Electronic fuel injection engines and generators for military UAVs

Our range of UAV engines and generators features cutting-edge Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology, providing a significant advantage over traditional carburetted designs. With capacities ranging from 35cc to 215cc, they can be precisely tuned for the ideal fuel-to-air mapping, automatically adjusting for altitude. This makes them ideal for the hard-wearing and dynamic requirements of military operations, and also results in up to 65% improvement in fuel efficiency.

All engines can be optionally equipped with generators and alternator starter systems, enabling recharging of onboard batteries as well as remote starting.

The iHE7 is an innovative hybrid-electric generator system with a twin-cylinder 2-stroke EFI engine. Used to power our heavy-lift ScanLift Orbit, it equips military UAV platforms with the extended ranges and flight times required for advanced missions such as ISR, logistics and communications relay.

Our advanced rugged unmanned aerial systems provide a range of options optimized towards portability, payload capacity or long endurance. With highly modular designs, they can be easily equipped with a variety of sensors and payloads, and are ideal for military mission-critical applications such as logistics and ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance).

ScanLift Orbit

A modular octocopter UAS that provides the endurance and range required for extended surveillance missions, with a payload capacity of up to 7kg (15.4lbs). The rugged drone has been tested in some of the world’s most challenging environments, from the Canadian mountains to the Australian desert outback. The ScanLift Orbit is Remote ID-equipped and BVLOS-ready, and can be equipped with a wide range of options including ADS-B, RTK GNSS, and a parachute system.

ScanLift Mini

Mini foldable quadcopter

A portable and foldable quadcopter ideal for situations where rapid deployment is of the utmost importance. With an endurance of up to 30 minutes and a top speed of 12 m/s, the rugged drone platform can be equipped with a range of surveillance and data capture payloads including RGB and thermal imaging cameras, gimbals, and LiDAR scanners.

Galaxy

innoflight uav technologyThe world’s first single-rotor-UAV to use a direct drive electric tail system, the Galaxy is a highly stable platform that can withstand challenging wind conditions and is ideal for both surveillance and cargo delivery applications with a payload capacity of 8 kg (17.6 lbs).

The system is BVLOS-ready and can be assembled and disassembled within minutes, requiring only a single tool.

ScanLift M Seriesheavy-lift multirotor UAS

A rugged medium- to heavy-lift multirotor UAS that can lift up to 8kg and achieve impressive flight times of up to 120 minutes when equipped with an optional hybrid propulsion system.

The aircraft can be easily reconfigured between a four-rotor and a dual-redundant eight-rotor system, allowing you to prioritize endurance or carrying capacity.

  • A new range of fixed-wing RPAS (remotely piloted aircraft systems), developed in conjunction with a leading Australasian aerospace company, that will provide tactical land forces with a range of capabilities including target drones and long-range ISR
