The AIRCAT Bobcat has been purpose-built to serve the needs of modern littoral warfare, featuring an ultra-high-speed 57 foot-long catamaran design that enables it to operate in as little as 1.6 feet of water and offload and self-recover without infrastructure. It has been built to align with the needs of U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps Distributed Maritime Operations (DMO) and Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations (EABO), as well as those of the U.S. Coast Guard.
The optionally-crewed platform can carry up to 36 combat troops or 10 tons of cargo across denied coastlines, riverine systems, and archipelagic chokepoints. The open, roll-on/roll-off deck features forward and aft ramps for rapid turnarounds, and can be equipped with autonomous mission pods, remote weapon stations, missiles, EO/IR and radar sensors, counter-UAS systems and more.
