The C670 is a 6U CompactPCI Gigabit Ethernet switch providing 24 GbE ports, expandable to a total of 40 with the addition of Aitech's M620 XMC switch. It also includes four front-panel 10-GbE ports that can support SFP+ modules in air-cooled configurations.
Supporting both Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality, the rugged embedded switch includes an embedded web server for intuitive browser-based management. Command line administration can also be performed over network and RS-232 connections.
