Rohde & Schwarz showcased its comprehensive ARDRONIS C-UAS suite within a specialized demonstration van at the Counter UAS Technology Europe 2026 conference, April 20-22, 2026.

The mobile exhibition allowed defense and security professionals to observe a fully integrated system designed for the early warning and rapid neutralization of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The C-UAS suite has been engineered to meet the specific requirements of armed forces and security organizations by providing frequency-agile technologies that detect and locate hostile targets with high speed.

The latest iteration of the ARDRONIS suite extends its gapless jamming capabilities down to 100 MHz, increasing the flexibility and effectiveness of the system against a wider array of threats. Central to the operation is a direction-finding cockpit that allows a single operator to monitor and control multiple stations simultaneously. This unified interface is designed to reduce personnel requirements while facilitating more coordinated defensive operations.

Inside the demonstration vehicle, the company has integrated several core technologies to provide a complete defensive workflow. This includes ARDRONIS Locate Advanced for pinpointing both drones and their operators, and ARDRONIS Effect, a multi-band jammer equipped with Smart Follower technology to automatically track and suppress threats. For rapid deployment scenarios, the van features compact detection and localization units, alongside specialized Wi-Fi modules capable of disrupting commercial UAV communication links.

Engineers are providing attendees with guided walkthroughs of the system’s operational lifecycle, covering the transition from initial bearing acquisition to active engagement in simulated environments. Rohde & Schwarz International GmbH, a global provider of electronic test and measurement equipment and secure communications, positions these tools as essential components for modern defense architectures.

During the event, Bob Moll, CUAS Market Development Manager, presented a session titled “ARDRONIS RF DF and Jamming – Staying Relevant in the (C)UAS Arms Race.” The presentation will focus on a field deployment example that combines low-frequency detection and high-power jamming into a single, seamless mobile workflow.

Bob Moll, CUAS Market Development Manager, Rohde & Schwarz International GmbH, said, “Our ARDRONIS suite combines early warning detection, rapid response jamming and a unified cockpit into a field ready system. Demonstrating it on a mobile platform illustrates how easily it can be woven into existing defense and security architectures to meet the fast changing drone threat landscape.”
