The Polish Ministry of National Defence’s Armament Agency has signed an executive agreement with WB GROUP for the delivery of additional FlyEye Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

This new contract is the fourth executive agreement signed under a framework agreement established on September 5, 2023, which covers the supply of more than four hundred FlyEye systems to the Polish Armed Forces.

The agreement, signed on October 24 by WB GROUP President Piotr Wojciechowski and Colonel Piotr Paluch, Deputy Head of the Armament Agency, includes technical documentation, along with comprehensive repair, logistics, and training packages.

Developed and manufactured by Flytronic, a WB GROUP company since 2009, the FlyEye is a mini-class UAS designed for airborne image reconnaissance. It features modular payloads equipped with both daylight and thermal imaging cameras, ensuring effective operation in all weather conditions, both day and night. The system has seen operational use by Polish Military Contingents, Operational Forces, and the Territorial Defence Forces, as well as abroad. FlyEye is also widely used in ongoing combat operations in Ukraine, where it is reported to have demonstrated exceptional effectiveness and resilience in real battlefield conditions.

This procurement aims to further strengthen the reconnaissance capabilities of the Polish Armed Forces. It supports the effort to equip operational units with advanced, battle-proven, Polish-made systems and continues the long-term cooperation between WB GROUP and the Polish defence sector.

The FlyEye systems that are to be delivered will be integrated with the TOPAZ combat management system. This integration will ensure full compatibility with mortars, self-propelled howitzers, and rocket launchers currently in service with the Polish Armed Forces, enabling the efficient use of aerial reconnaissance data in tactical decision-making processes.
