Neousys Technology, a provider of rugged edge AI systems, has unveiled the latest nano computers in its robust Jetson lineup – NRU-161V-AWP and NRU-162S-AWP.

Equipped with NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX or Orin™ Nano, these systems are engineered for AI-powered applications in extreme conditions.

New Waterproof AI Computers for In-Vehicle Appl

The NRU-161V-AWP/ NRU-162S-AWP series is built for demanding in-vehicle and in-robot deployments. This includes autonomous robotics and logistics, smart agriculture, and ADAS for off-road vehicles.

The new computers feature a compact and low-profile, -25°C to 70°C fanless operation, IP66-rated water and dustproof design, and an affordable cost.

The systems are equipped with a wide DC input range of 8V to 35V, ignition power control, and expansion options for mobile connectivity.

The all-M12 connector design also provides extra shock and vibration resistance. The series includes two models tailored to various vision-based AI needs:

  • NRU-161V-AWP – Supports up to six GMSL2 automotive cameras with pre-integrated drivers.
  • NRU-162S-AWP – Features four PoE+ GbE ports for IP or industrial GigE cameras.

Kaichu Wu, Product Manager at Neousys Technology, stated, “The Jetson series inspires many innovative edge AI applications due to its low power consumption and superior AI performance. At Neousys, we aim to complete the missing pieces of edge Jetson deployment in the real world. This includes not only ruggedized designs and onboard PoE+ GbE and GMSL2 camera support but also the cost-effective waterproof platforms.”
