Adacel has joined the CAE-led Team AUStringer as part of the AIR 5428 Phase 3 project for the Royal Australian Air Force’s (RAAF’s) Future Air Mission Training System (F-AMTS).

Under the terms of collaboration, Adacel will support CAE Australia in the provision of state-of-the-art training solutions and services to deliver immersive Air Traffic Control (ATC) training seamlessly integrated within the F-AMTS located at RAAF Base East Sale, Victoria.

Together with partners Adacel, Leidos, Milskil, and Nova Systems, CAE seeks to partner with the RAAF to deliver a training institution for Australia’s Mission Aviators. ATC candidates and postgraduate students represent a significant number of Mission Aviators trained in Australia.

“As an Australian company, Adacel has been at the forefront of developing and deploying the world’s most widely used ATC Tower simulation and training solution,” said Daniel Verret, Adacel CEO. “With over a decade of experience supporting RAAF’s ATC training programs, we are thrilled to partner with CAE, a renowned global training solutions provider. Together, we aim to create and deliver advanced ATC solutions that offer a highly immersive training environment, to meet and surpass RAAF’s specific training goals.”

“Air Traffic Controllers play a vital role in ensuring aviation safety and facilitating efficient operations of aircraft,” said Matthew Sibree, Managing Director Indo-Pacific, CAE Defense & Security. “Military flight operations and military air traffic controllers make critical decisions, often under immense pressure, whilst operating in complex environments. The foundational skills and post-graduate qualifications developed through the AMTS are essential to ensuring each graduate is mission-ready.”

Adacel joins a distinguished group unifying decades of global defense and security experience to offer the lowest-risk F-AMTS solution. CAE and Team AUStringer enable customers to protect national interests and assure the achievement of the Air Force’s operational goals, addressing the priorities set by the Australian Defence Strategic Review.
