The VECTOR-MCC is a UAV mission control computer with an open architecture design that enables the development of mission logic or payload control that can be segregated from the autopilot, thus eliminating flight safety risks in the case of MCC failure. This segregation allows drivers to be developed separately for payloads that are not critical for UAV control, eases certification processes, and helps to establish different DAL levels.
When connected to UAV Navigation's VECTOR autopilot, the MCC receives the complete output telemetry stream. It can then automatically manage the mission based on this data as well as outputs from other connected payloads and equipment.
Qualified to MIL-STD-810F, MIL-STD 461F and ISO 9001:2015 standards, the VECTOR-MCC also enhances the I/O capabilities of the VECTOR autopilot, allowing a range of third-party hardware to be interfaced with the system.
