µFORS FOG Rate Sensor
The low-SWaP µFORS fiber optic rate sensor has been designed specifically for high performance under challenging battlefield conditions in all domains, and features high scale factor linearity and dynamic range. The closed-loop sensor delivers compensated angle or rotation rate data via an asynchronous or synchronous digital IBIS interface that can be configured with multiple range, resolution and measurement mode options.
The ultra-reliable unit has no moving parts, making it highly resistant to shock and vibration, and requires no periodic maintenance.
