FT205 Wind Sensor
The FT205 is a compact wind speed, wind direction and air temperature measurement system specifically designed for installation on UAVs, drones and moving platforms. Weighing just 100g (3.5oz) and constructed from a graphite and nylon composite, the low-SWaP sensor is ideal for flight control and environmental monitoring applications.
The ultrasonic sensor includes an integrated electronic compass for enhanced performance in dynamic applications. It is resistant to electrical interference, operates at altitudes up to 4000m, and can withstand temperatures from -20°C to +70°C. The FT205 can be easily mounted on a pole or fixed to a flat surface on the aircraft or vehicle.
