Military Vehicle Protection Kits

Add-on armor protection kits improve vulnerable parts of military vehicles that could otherwise be breached by weapons. Designed to increase the vehicle’s resistance to ballistic and fragmentation debris, as well as protect from landmines and IEDs (improvised explosive devices), protection kits also include bullet proof glass and window frames.

Modern add-on kits are engineered to be as lightweight as possible using processes such as cold-form bending of armor steels. Instead of being welded onto the vehicles as they would have been previously, they can now be mounted and dismounted easily by the vehicle’s crew, without special equipment.

Available in a range of armored steels, aluminium and high strength composite or ceramic materials, vehicle armor can be manufactured to custom dimensions and shapes in order to strengthen specific panels or parts of a vehicle.
