The Sentry-M 6170-HH is a multiband handheld military software-defined radio offering continuous spectrum coverage from 20 MHz through to 520 MHz. Featuring a high-resolution colour display and an intuitive customizable user interface, it is designed to be operated with minimal training. The versatile interface can be configured to show a range of mission-critical information including power output, signal
quality, mode of operation and radio ID when receiving signal.
Multiple waveforms can be utilized, and radios can be rapidly reconfigured in the field via a fill gun programmer to keep up with changing mission requirements. Radio network administrators can set pre-predefined COMSEC, TRANSEC and frequency allocation for each of the unit's 1000 programmable channels.
The Sentry-M 6170-HH can be enhanced with a modular unit that incorporates a vehicular adapter and a 50W power amplifier, enabling range extension and the use of more efficient antenna solutions.
