Storm Foundation Armor Plate
The Storm Foundation is an ultra-light body armor plate that forms the base of Adept Armor's modular Storm System, utilizing an advanced UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) composite construction. As a standalone plate, it weighs just 2.4 lbs and provides full RF1/Level III protection against all handgun rounds, as well as lead-cored and mild steel cored rifle rounds.
For situations where wearers may expect to face stronger steel-cored small-arms threats, the Storm Foundation can be stacked with additional plates such as the Storm Titanium and Storm Disruptor, providing an upgrade to Level III+ or Level IV protection.
